ACT buys another 9,500 Chromebooks for schools

Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is making sure 9,500 chromebooks devices will be available to be used in every secondary school, where all students will have access to the devices for personal studies.

As will know chromebook is a laptop of different breed. Other than Windows or MacOS, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS and had been the best pixelbook for most.

ACT will actually monitor how the students will be able to use the devices for legal practices.

ACT once purchased 15,000 Chromebooks from Acer to equip every school of students year 7 to 11.

Now, it's a new turn where the government will get the latest Chromebooks to support the Second and Third years of the ACT's technology to enable learning aimed.

The devices are expected to have minimum life span of three years with an Intel Celeron dual-Core with at least 4GB of memory and 11 inches screen.
