13 more languages in Google Translate

Google added 13 more languages to Google Translate together with the support of 27 different languages. Google Translate has always make communication easier as users will be able to translate from one language to another for better understanding. This week Google announced to add Punjabi, Bengali, Vietnamese, Thai, Gujarati, Kannada, Nepali, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, putting the total number of supported languages up to like 50.

Users can access the feature in the Translate app from the home screen by navigating to either of the camera, Handwriting, Conversation or Voice icon (Those features are limited to some particular languages). The app will then prompt you to Tap to enter text or take a photo or use voice. Then, the app will scan the text you typed in or from your photo with the use of a machine learning technique called Neural Machine Translation (NMT), after which you get your translated language of your choice.

Starting this week, the Google Translate app will be capable of surely translating 13 new languages added by typing or using the camera on your smartphone. According to a report from VentureBeat.

The new additional languages are available on both iOS and Android.
